Silvia Lobenhofer- Albrecht

The current artistic discussion focuses on glass as a material that offers unique luminosity and depth. Glass: something so fascinating and contradicting. Immaterial-seeming and yet giving form to light. Used as a medium, it exudes magical attraction. Glass: so light and yet so heavy, it is a study in contrasts, more so than any other material. You can’t help but succumb to its multifaceted shimmer and the fire from which it was born.

Silvia Lobenhofer-Albrecht
born in Amberg, studied textile design at the FH Coburg.
She has operated her own glass workshop in Offenhausen since 2010.
