"GEWONNENE JAHRE – NEUES ZEITALTER FÜR FRAUEN?" Ausstellung 2014/13
"YEARS GAINED - NEW AGE FOR WOMEN?" Exhibition 2014/13

The life expectancy of women is rising - especially in affluent regions. How do years gained become quality of life? The exhibition presents women who are shaping this new phase of life in a variety of ways. They either “continue like this" without feeling a clear transition into old age or they use it as an opportunity to “start something new". They cultivate and preserve traditions (Re-member), pass on their knowledge to the young generation and actively work for the benefit of future generations (wise women).

The exhibition poses questions, gives suggestions, shows possibilities for action - regionally and internationally - with art contributions, photographs, with examples of solidarity between the generations and with miniature worlds in “pigeonhole thinking".
